1939 Register of Kirkbymoorside

On 29th September 1939 a national registration took place of all the people living in the United Kingdom.  David Harrison, the webmaster of the Kirkbymoorside MenZown Group, has transcribed all the information of people living in the town into a searchable database.

By clicking the link below you will gain direct access to this database.  On the site you will see an introduction to the 1939 Register and a series of tabs.  By clicking on any of these tabs you will be able to search for details of people by Streets, Surnames and Occupations, as well as a tab for Evacuees who had been moved to Kirkbymoorside by this date.
